Marty Clark (Paving Division) Executive Vice PresidentSend Email

Marty Clark holds the distinction of being Hicon's youngest "up-start" having started with the Paving Division in the summer of 1978 while still a student at Elder High School.  He became a full time field employee in the summer of 1980 after graduating and learned paving while installing paving for various installations- walks, driveways, pool decks, and even horse stables.  That experience qualified Marty to begin managing all field operations for the Paving Division in 1988.  Today, while still estimating residential projects, Marty is responsible for and now manages commercial sales and production.  He served as a board member for the Cincinnati Chapter of American Subcontractors Association of Ohio for three years.  Marty resides in Delhi Township and enjoys spending time with his wife Tina and their sons while still supporting his Alma Mater- Elder High School.

Steve is the newest member of our company.  He is a 2014 graduate of the University of Cincinnati where received a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management.  Steve was born and raised in the Akron area and is a lifetime Cleveland Browns fan.  He interned with us for only one year before we knew we had to make him a member of our team.  We are excited about his creativity and new ideas he brings to our company.

Steve Sprengard (Paving Division) PresidentSend Email

Steve Sprengard is one of those "long timers" with Hicon.  Beginning his career in 1977, he literally was the first person to install interlocking pavers in Cincinnati.  After spending time in Canada to learn the correct way of installing pavers, he went to work to help grow Hicon's paving business from the ground up.  Through the early years, he installed many jobs himself and trained crews and foremen.  According to Steve,  "doing it the right way first" has helped Hicon each year since its early beginning.  Today, the Paving Division of Hicon is known for its high quality installations which have stood the test of time.  From modest homes to large estates to industrial applications, Hicon Paving has added beauty, function, and most importantly, value.  A native of Cincinnati and graduate of Elder High School, Steve has served on the Board of Directors of the Home Builders Association of Cincinnati.  An avid supporter of Elder High School, Steve resides in Lawrenceburg, Indiana with his wife and high school sweetheart Jenny.  They have three married children and are proud grandparents.

Daniel J. Verst (Restoration Division) Executive Vice PresidentSend Email

Dan Verst, a native and resident of Cold Spring, Kentucky is also a proud University of Kentucky fan.  A 1981 graduate of Bishop Brossart High School, Dan was introduced to Hicon by his brother Jack and entered the ranks of the company in 1988.  After a four year stint with Hicon's Masonry division, Dan was called upon to lead a new "start-up" restoration division of Hicon.  Dan set a early goal of achieving superior quality for Hicon clients.  In achieving that goal, Hicon Restoration has become the market leader in residential projects.  Through the years, the company has restored numerous chimneys, historic home facades, and provided a host of residential masonry and concrete repair services.  Dan is proud of this Hicon division's accomplishments and of the firm's steadfast requirement of quality workmanship.  When away from Hicon, Dan spends time with his wife, Amy, and their four children.  "Go Blue!"
